Penrith Town Council the parish authority for the town. Our vision is to ensure Penrith is a thriving community and a healthy, vibrant and attractive place in which to work, live and visit.

 We are committed to provide:

• A sustainable environment

• Neighbourhood and community benefits

 We have 19 volunteer councillors representing six wards (areas) who are elected every four years.

They set the budget, decide the Council’s strategic actions and how money is spent.

We work with a large number of partners, stakeholders, organisations and authorities.
